## Job Summary

Kestrel Builders is looking to hire a skilled carpenter with ten years of experience. The ideal candidate excels in listening and communication, possesses strong reading and writing abilities, is proficient in computer and technology skills, and is a natural problem solver.

## Responsibilities

- Manage construction production activities on-site in collaboration with the Kestrel management team, project partners, and suppliers.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans

- Perform carpentry tasks, train staff in carpentry skills, and oversee site operations and conditions.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively

- Communicate project progress and budget updates to clients, team members, and subcontractors using accounting and project management software.

- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards

- Oversee material procurement and inventory management

- Perform heavy lifting

- Restore and repair structures as needed

## Skills

- Proficient in carpentry techniques including installation, repair, and finishing

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately

- Strong knowledge of various construction materials and methods

- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team

- Experience with heavy lifting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
