We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Carpenter to assist the site supervisor on our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily on-site activities Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Manage and motivate construction workers and subcontractors on site Assist Site Supervisor with project progress and management Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, installing doors and windows, and other related duties Assist with structural tasks as needed throughout the construction process Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts Maintain a clean and organized work site Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter or in a similar supervisory role Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, framework, carpentry, equipment, and OSHA guidelines Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Valid driver's license Commercial experience will be considered an asset
