Coffee Island is the 6th largest coffee brand in Europe and is currently looking for a full-time lead barista/ Shift Manager for its store in central Toronto.
We are looking for an experienced barista to join our team, someone who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute in creating a unique coffee experience for our guests.
We are looking for someone who:
Has 2+ years of coffee experience, specialty coffee experience (required). Has SCA coffee diplomas (are preferred). Has an avid interest in coffee, food and coffee culture. Has an extensive knowledge on coffee, brewing methods and also latte art skills Understands and values the importance of customer care & hospitality Has a commitment to consistency in quality, speed and intelligent customer service Has the ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment Has a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
