Lead, Application & Operational Assurance Analyst

Job Description

This role is the main application support provider for all PST applications, providing application support for 50+ applications and day to day user management. They are a main technical support provider for PST and are responsible for ensuring seamless processes for application management.

As the Lead, Application & Operational Assurance Analyst you will be joining the Operations and Planning team within our Products & Technology and Pension Services Division. We are a focused and central team that provides critical business and technical support to multiple groups of agile development teams and Stakeholders. We're looking for a candidate with outstanding technical, audit & process design skills. The successful candidate will be coordinating and performing our application and user access control processes and reviews, as well as looking for process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our departmental application access control review process (SaaS applications)
  • Update & maintain master list of applications & control documentation
  • Build out our segregation of duties user access reviews
  • Create, maintain, and improve documentation (Including access review, process documents and procedures)
  • Recommend and document internal controls and process improvements and assist in the design and implementation of new internal controls, where required
  • Lead the coordination & supply documentation for our internal and external audits and ensure timely remediation of gaps and recommendations
  • Coordinate with Internal audit on projects on an Ad hoc basis
  • Act as a back-up for our Business Application Support Analyst and provide technical support to our Pension Services Team
  • Working with multiple different applications including Atlassian, Service Now, Active Directory, Miro, Lucid charts, Salesforce and Office365
  • Assist with various departmental and operational tasks on an as needed basis
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional IT audit related work experience
  • University degree
  • Strong understanding of information system risks and IT general controls
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple work streams in parallel
  • Project Management skills
  • Understands Controls, Control Gaps, and Remediation Plans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Interest in automation and process refinement
  • Independently prioritize work and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • A CPA and or Certified Information Systems Auditor certification is a plus
