We are a well-established

concrete formwork company

specializing in residential, commercial, and industrial projects across the BC Lower Mainland. Our team is growing, and we are in search of a reliable and skilled

Layout Person

to join our crew.

As a layout person, the selected candidate will be responsible for

accurately setting out building lines, elevations, and benchmarks

for the formwork crews on site. They will be working closely with our site superintendent and foremen to ensure precision and efficiency in all stages of formwork construction.

Responsibilities

Perform layout for formwork, footings, walls, slabs, and columns using total stations or laser levels Interpret and verify construction drawings and site plans Coordinate with site supervisors to maintain accuracy throughout all phases Maintain layout equipment and ensure calibration and accuracy Assist with quality control checks and as-built measurements

Qualifications

Minimum

2 years of experience

in formwork layout or related construction surveying Proficient with

total stations, builder's levels and laser levels

Strong understanding of

blueprints, elevations, and dimensions

Ability to work both independently and in a group dynamic Valid

driver's license

and/or reliable transportation Safety certifications (Fall Protection, WHMIS, First Aid) are an asset
