Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in civil litigation, corporate, estate matters

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, legal documents, and agreements

Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy

Represent clients in court, mediations, or arbitrations

Manage caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met

Work collaboratively with team members to deliver optimal legal solutions

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry practices relevant to your practice area

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Good standing with the LSO

Active membership in the CCLA

Experience practicing civil litigation

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Excellent negotiation and litigation skills

High ethical standards and professional integrity

Bilingualism is an asset (English/French or other languages)
