Job Description

Columbia Valley Law Corporation is looking to hire a lawyer with at least 5 years' experience to join our team in Invermere, BC. The work-life balance is excellent, the base pay is good, and there are generous performance bonuses.

We are looking for a lawyer to take carriage of a wide range of work at a general practice. There is an abundance of work and opportunity to practice in most areas of law, including civil litigation, family law, corporate, real estate, estate planning, and the like.

Lawyers manage their own time and the billable targets are fair- triple base salary. We are mostly paperless and cloud based. Technological proficiency is required.

Responsibilities



Manage files ethically, efficiently, and to a high standard. Work collaboratively with everyone in the office. Carriage of files from intake to closing. Legal research, drafting, document review, negotiations. Guiding clients through their legal issues in diverse areas of law.

Skills and Experience



At least 5 year' experience as a lawyer in BC. Called to the bar in BC.
