The Lawn Maintenance crew is responsible for all aspects of safe and efficient lawn and property maintenance, including but not limited to the following:
- Operating professional lawn mowers
- Operating leaf blowers and string trimmers
- Operating mechanical sweeping and dethatching equipment
- Operating mechanical hedge trimmers
- Spreading mulch in gardens
- Raking debris and leaves
- Assisting with other landscaping jobs as required
- Maintaining all equipment
- Be physically fit and energetic with great work ethic. Able to lift, bend and carry effectively. Able to walk for long periods. Able to be active all day
- Possess superior attention to detail skills
- Be willing to listen, learn, follow direction and accept constructive criticism from the crew leader
- Possess a passion for physical, outdoor work. Enjoy and take pride in creating a quality landscape
- Be willing and able to work outside in all weather
- Enjoy working as part of an efficient, professional and collaborative team
- Possess outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to connect positively with other crew members
- Comply with all company safety policies and regulations
- Look forward to returning to this seasonal position each year, in order to build continuity
- Seasonal work - Early April to mid-November
- If you are a student looking for April to September work please be specific on application. We will consider you for summer employment
- There is potential to be rehired for the position in future years
- CSA approved steel toed boots required. All other safety equipment supplied. Uniforms provided at no cost
- Fit to Work policy
- Covid health and safety procedures in place
- You must have your own, reliable method to get to work
- We are not accessible by public transport

- High School Diploma
- Clean G or G2 drivers license preferred, but not required
- Previous experience working in the lawn care industry, farm work or any outdoor work an asset but not essential. We are happy to train a willing and keen person.
- Willing to support employees who after working for a minimum of 1 season are interested in pursuing an Apprenticeship as a Horticultural Technician through the Apprenticeship Program.
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
- Sackville, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
