Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for landscape maintenance. As a Lawn Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of residential and commercial properties through effective lawn care practices. Your expertise in using power tools and hand tools will be essential in executing various tasks related to irrigation, digging, building, and overall garden maintenance.

Responsibilities

Operate power tools and hand tools for lawn care and landscape maintenance. Perform irrigation tasks to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens. Maintain lawns by mowing, trimming, and edging as required. Dig, build, and install landscaping features such as flower beds, pathways, and retaining walls. Conduct regular inspections of lawns to identify issues such as pests or diseases. Apply fertilizers and pesticides safely according to established guidelines. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and servicing.

Qualifications

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools safely. Familiarity with irrigation systems and techniques for effective water management. Ability to dig, build, and install landscaping features as needed. Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.50-$22.31 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
