Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lawn Care Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional lawn care services to Amico owned properties in the Windsor / Essex Region.

Key Responsibilities

Operating lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, aerators, and blowers. Applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control treatments in accordance with safety standards and environmental regulations. Performing lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, seeding, aeration, and overseeding. Identifying lawn health issues such as weeds, pests, and nutrient deficiencies. Maintaining and cleaning tools, machinery, and service vehicles regularly. Interacting with clients on-site, providing basic service updates and recommendations as needed. Following all company safety policies and procedures. Recording service activities, treatments applied, and site conditions. Assisting in snow removal, spring/fall clean-ups, and other groundskeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance preferred. Valid G-class driver's licence (with clean abstract). Ability to safely operate commercial lawn care machinery. Knowledge of turf management, fertilizer/pesticide application (PA certification an asset). Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Moderate to heavy physical activity, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
