Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and manage legal documents and correspondence.
Open, organize, and maintain client files in accordance with firm and Law Society standards.
Conduct legal research, prepare summaries, and assist with court or registry filings.
Liaise with clients, financial institutions, government offices, and opposing counsel.
Coordinate real estate transactions, including reviewing title searches, preparing closing documents, and final reporting.
Assist with estate administration, including probate applications, asset transfers, and trust account record-keeping.
Support corporate filings, incorporations, annual returns, and minute book maintenance.
Track deadlines and manage tasks efficiently using firm software tools.
Prepare and manage accounts, trust ledgers, and disbursement records.
Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of real estate, wills and estates, family, or corporate law.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite

Closer
, and
uLaw
; experience with
Priority Matrix
or similar workflow tools is an asset.
Ability to work efficiently in a
digital and paperless office environment

Excellent drafting, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities;
bilingualism (English/French)

Qualifications
Completion of a
Law Clerk Diploma
or equivalent legal education.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Law Clerk in a law firm setting.
