experienced and highly organized Law Clerk (Tort Specialist)

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a

strong background in personal injury law

, specifically with

tort claims

, and will be passionate about helping injured clients receive the compensation and care they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

:

Manage tort and A/B files from open to closing, working closely with Senior Lawyer. Independently manage a caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury tort files Draft pleadings, motion records, affidavits of documents, mediation and pre-trial memoranda Coordinate expert reports, medical documentation, and undertakings Schedule and manage discoveries, mediations, pre-trials, and trials Prepare and organize trial records and briefs Communicate with clients, adjusters, defense counsel, and medical professionals Maintain accurate, up-to-date dockets and file notes in a case management system (e.g. PCLaw, etc.)

Qualifications

:

Minimum 3

years of experience

as a Law Clerk in tort/personal injury litigation Strong understanding of Rules of Civil Procedure and court filing processes Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Experience with trial preparation and attending at trial is a strong asset
