Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Laundry Route Driver to join our team in Winnipeg. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to deliver laundry and dry cleaning items efficiently across designated routes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage deliveries with professionalism and punctuality.

Duties

Safely operate various types of commercial vehicles - Company Van. Load and unload laundry supplies and finished products. Ensure timely pickup and delivery of laundry items, maintaining adherence to schedule and route plans. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Buying inventory and delivering them to the store. Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery schedules, address concerns, and provide excellent customer service. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs. Follow all safety protocols related to commercial vehicle operation, including proper handling of manual transmission vehicles and heavy equipment if applicable.

Qualifications

Proven experience in driving Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type. Must have at least

Class 5-F

. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to tight schedules across various routes in Winnipeg. Physical ability to load/unload items and perform routine vehicle inspections; must be able to lift heavy loads when necessary.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week
