We are seeking a proactive and skilled Laundramat Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and maintenance of laundry facility equipment. Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on laundry machines, including washers, dryers, presses, and related equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues utilizing precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters. Repair or replace components such as motors, belts, valves, pumps, and control panels in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose system faults and reprogram controls as needed to optimize machine performance. Maintain accurate maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history. Operate heavy machinery including scissor lifts safely for access to elevated systems or equipment. Assist with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems maintenance to ensure optimal environmental conditions within the facility. Conduct welding (including welding where applicable), low-voltage electrical work, and repairs involving high voltage systems while adhering to strict safety protocols. Support field service activities by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns or emergencies on-site or at client locations. Collaborate with team members and technical sales staff to provide exceptional customer service by offering technical support and solutions for equipment issues.

Experience

Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility or similar environment. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience working with schematics, technical drawings, and control systems. Hands-on electrical experience including troubleshooting low voltage and high voltage circuits using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Familiarity with industrial electrician practices such as wiring panels or performing repairs on electrical components. Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, HVAC/R systems, and precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of welding techniques specific to welding standards is preferred. Prior field service experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing settings is highly desirable. Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively diagnose issues and communicate solutions clearly. Military background in technical roles related to maintenance or electronics is considered an asset.
