Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating laser cutting machines and will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate laser cutting machines to fabricate parts according to specifications. Assemble components and ensure proper alignment and fit. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process. Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Use hand tools and machinery, including plasma cutting equipment, milling machines, and cranes, as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and perform basic maintenance as required. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and workflow.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Laser Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with machining processes including fabrication, milling, and plasma cutting. Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Proficient in using hand tools and machinery effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $18.41-$28.47 per hour
