Summary
We are seeking an
English language arts
Teacher (
ELA
) to join our team at Exploring Scholar. In this in person role, you will have the opportunity to inspire students through engaging lessons and hands-on learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a full-time physics or teaching job during the day, or they will be in teacher's college or in an education related field.
Qualifications:
Teaching experiences in English Literature/ ELA in a North American curriculum are required.
Confidence teaching ELA demonstrated during the selection process.
Proficient in online teaching tools.

Responsibilities:
Must deliver high-quality lessons to small classes of students or through private tutoring.
Prepare lessons within guidelines and Mark homework and assessments.
Help promote students' interests in the subject.
Our classes are in person, with teachers in classes a minimum of 4 hours per week.

Compensation
: Compensation is calculated by teaching hours and prior experience.
