part-time English Language Arts Teacher / Tutor

Location

The chosen candidate will provide tutoring services at the Scholars Capitol Hill location, 1442 20 Ave NW, Calgary AB T2M 1G5.

Qualified candidates must possess:

Alberta Certified Teacher? is preferred Current teaching experience or pursuing a bachelor of education Previous experience working with children in a teaching or tutoring environment is an asset. Excellent oral and written skills in English. Have a passion to help students reach their potential. Exceptionally organized and meticulous for attention to detail. Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students Must be able to teach Reading or Writing from K to Grade 12 Teachers who are qualified and competent to teach additional subjects such as Math, Science, or French are preferred.
Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week.

Monday - Thursday, 4:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, 2:00 - 6:00 pm Saturday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

4 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed

Calgary, AB T2M 1G5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Secondary School (required)
Experience:
