We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves utilizing various tools and equipment to create and maintain beautiful landscapes for our clients. The Landscape Technician will be responsible for executing landscape projects, ensuring the health of plants, and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
Operate power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
Perform landscape maintenance duties including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
Irrigate plants and gardens to promote healthy growth.
Build and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other landscape features.
Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed.
Conduct routine inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues such as pests or diseases.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Requirements
Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues when necessary.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including digging and lifting.
Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
A valid driver's license may be required for transporting equipment to job sites.
