Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves hands-on tasks that contribute to the beautification and upkeep of various landscapes, including gardens, parks, and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will be responsible for implementing landscaping projects and ensuring that all areas are well-maintained.

Duties

Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Dig and prepare soil for planting, ensuring optimal conditions for growth. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Build and maintain garden beds, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Irrigate landscapes efficiently to promote healthy plant growth. Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify maintenance needs. Maintain equipment in good working order through regular cleaning and basic mechanical knowledge. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Ability to dig, plant, maintain, and build various landscape features. Knowledge of irrigation systems and techniques is a plus. Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: $18.30-$24.00 per hour

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
