This role involves working outdoors to create and maintain beautiful gardens and landscapes, ensuring that all aspects of the environment are well-kept and functional. As a Landscape Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our community while ensuring their health and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including Mowing, Power trimming, Detail Weeding, Pathway Maintenance, and Litter Pickups. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects. Dig, plant, and maintain garden beds, ensuring proper care for plants and flowers as instructed Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify issues or areas needing attention. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to safely operate various hand and power tools. Ability to dig, plant, irrigate, and maintain gardens effectively. Knowledge of horticulture principles is a plus. Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed

Outdoor Working: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
