Landscape Maintenance

Job responsibilities:

Work alongside workers to maintain residential and commercial sites (lawn, garden beds, tree wells, athletic fields, parks, and other landscape construction areas of work). Assist with project materials, labour, tools and equipment. Organize the layout and planting of small shrubs and perennials. Maintenance of planting beds, gardens, lawns, shrubs, hedges and trees. Be part of the work crew schedule and time submittals using LMN software, and coordinate activities with the Supervisor and other working divisions. Assist in the preparation and submit progress and other maintenance reports as required. Ability to drive with a utility trailer from the yard/office site to the site. Operate ride-on mower, push lawn mower, weed whippers and all other required equipment. Relay any issues or concerns related to the site, and or clients directly to your supervisor promptly. Maintain high standard of productivity with quality control, safety, and professionalism.

Requirements:

Strong verbal, communication and organizational skills. ( English) Good observation and problem-solving skills.

A Bonus if you have previous experience in construction, carpentry, carpenter, carpenters assistant, concrete formworks, cribbing, concrete, concrete finisher, landscaping, labour, general labour, skilled labour, masonry, brick layer, stone work, stone mason, renovations, handyman, roofing, framing, fencing, farming, equipment, equipment operator, equipment maintenance, equipment moving, horticulture, tree planting, load & unload, irrigation, moving, excavation, bobcat, skid steer, mini dig, truck and trailer, swamping, warehouse, industrial, steel worker, tradesman, is an asset.
