WHAT THIS JOB ACTUALLY IS

You are the

Maintenance Manager

.
Second-in-command of field operations.

That means:

You run

multiple maintenance crews + enhancements

You directly manage

8-10 guys

You own

quality, pace, discipline, equipment, routes, customers

If something breaks, fails, or goes sideways

it's on you

If standards slip and you don't correct it

you're done

You are not a supervisor.
You are not a coordinator.
You are the

pressure point

.

THE EXPECTATION

Planning happens

before work and after work

Phones ring outside "work hours" You are

YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO:

Address problems immediately (no ignoring, no delays) Correct grown men on-site without losing control Handle angry customers without folding Plan routes, materials, manpower, and contingencies Keep trucks, tools, and the yard dialed Think 3 steps ahead while everything is moving
