Are you a collaborative and experienced leader ready to take the next step in your landscaping career? We're seeking a reliable Maintenance Lead to oversee our skilled crew while maintaining stunning residential and commercial properties. This leadership role combines hands-on maintenance expertise with crew management, driving responsibilities, and specialty service coordination.

What You'll Do



As our Maintenance Lead, you'll:



Effectively oversee and manage maintenance crew through weekly and bi-weekly property routes Drive truck and trailer safely to job sites while enforcing cleanliness and organization standards for vehicles, equipment, and work areas Perform premium lawn care services: mowing, trimming, fertilizing, aerating, top dressing, seeding, and seasonal cleanup Maintain and prune perennials, shrubs, and trees to ensure optimal health and aesthetic appeal Schedule and coordinate specialty service projects including planting, sodding, mulching, stone work repairs, pressure washing, and seasonal installations Meet with existing and potential clients to promote services and turn leads into prospects by showcasing our lawn, garden maintenance, and upgrade capabilities Inspect all work for quality to eliminate return visits and re-work while ensuring customer satisfaction Send visit reports via email to maintenance clients after each property visit Provide monthly progress reporting on job time and cost data to management Use Asana daily to manage leads, clients, and crew coordination Ensure all crew activities are carried out safely and efficiently with full compliance to health & safety standards

What We're Looking For



We value leadership, experience, and dedication to quality. The ideal candidate will have:



3+ years experience in the landscape/horticulture/grounds maintenance industry Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation Leadership experience or strong potential to develop management skills Knowledge of horticultural practices: planting, transplanting, cultivating, pruning, and maintaining diverse plant materials Expertise with groundskeeping equipment: mowers, trimmers, blowers, spreaders, aerators, and specialty tools Client management skills (preferred but willing to train the right candidate) Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Proactive, reliable, and safety-focused work ethic

Schedule & Compensation



This is a

seasonal

position (mid March to mid December).

Monday through Friday, 6:30am-5:30pm
