Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong desire to contribute to the beautification and maintenance of various landscapes. This role involves physical labor, including tasks such as digging, building, and maintaining gardens, as well as operating hand and power tools. A successful Landscape Laborer will demonstrate mechanical knowledge and a commitment to quality landscape maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation of new landscapes, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers. Dig trenches for irrigation systems and prepare soil for planting. Build garden beds, retaining walls, and other landscape structures as needed. Maintain existing landscapes by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and weeding flower beds. Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners effectively. Utilize power tools like lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers safely. Irrigate plants according to specified guidelines to ensure healthy growth. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols while working in various outdoor environments.

Requirements

Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred but not required. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues is a plus. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds). Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
