The Landscape/Hardscape Technician is responsible for constructing and maintaining outdoor spaces using interlock brick, stone, and other hardscape materials. This role involves moving large rocks, working around ponds, and installing features such as patios and retaining walls.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in landscaping or hardscaping, can operate heavy equipment, and is comfortable with physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overall Responsibilities:
? Install and maintain interlock brick, stonework, and retaining walls.
? Move and position large rocks around ponds and landscape features.
? Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as skid steers and compactors.
? Prepare surfaces by excavating, grading, and compacting soil.
? Lay pavers, flagstone, and other hardscape materials with precision.
? Assist with the installation of drainage and irrigation systems.
? Maintain a clean and organized worksite, following safety procedures.
? Handle additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Key Qualifications
? Minimum of 1 year of experience in landscaping or hardscaping.
? Experience working with interlock brick, stone, and large landscape materials.
? Ability to operate machinery such as skid steers, compactors, and excavators.
? Must perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and manual labour.
? High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
? Valid driver's license may be required to operate equipment.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
