About the Role
A
Landscape Construction Labourer
at Tumber plays a key role in the execution of high-quality residential landscaping projects. This position involves a range of physically demanding tasks and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards on every job site.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with job site setup and cleanup, including preparing tools and organizing equipment
Shovel, grade, and move materials such as sand, gravel, topsoil, and mulch
Perform hardscaping tasks: carrying, cutting, and laying stone, brick, and precast materials
Assist with concrete mixing and pouring
Support basic carpentry work related to landscaping structures
Install plant materials and sod
Follow direction from site supervisors and contribute to a clean, safe, and productive job site
Maintain proper use and care of tools and equipment
Comply with company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills
Physically fit and able to handle the demands of outdoor work in all weather conditions
Able to lift at least 50 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Motivated to produce consistent, high-quality work
Access to reliable transportation to and from job sites (valid driver's license and vehicle preferred)
