Job Overview

We are a growing landscaping company seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in landscaping and 3+ Years leading a crew, with a strong background in operating heavy machinery such as skid steers and excavators. A solid understanding of hardscaping, carpentry, and general landscaping techniques is essential to support the execution of a wide range of outdoor projects.

In this role, you'll take the lead in managing project sites, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards. You will be working closely with 3-4 man crew, and we're looking for someone who is not only experienced but also eager to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities

:

Operate skid steers, excavators, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Lead and supervise landscaping and hardscaping projects, including carpentry tasks such as building decks, fences, and other wooden structures. Manage and coordinate a small team, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards. Plan and execute landscaping tasks, including planting, grading, sod installation, and irrigation. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a positive work environment. Ensure all safety protocols and company policies are followed. Collaborate with the team to problem-solve and implement creative landscaping solutions. Maintain and care for machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance. Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in landscaping, hardscaping, and carpentry. Extensive experience operating skid steers, excavators, and other landscaping machinery. Strong knowledge of hardscaping techniques, including stonework, paver installation, base preparation and carpentry. Ability to lead a team and ensure the successful completion of projects. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Valid driver's license . Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, in all weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to grow with the company and take on increasing responsibilities.
