United Landscapes is a full-service landscape company. We create, transform and maintain all manner of outdoor space. We are seeking a responsible, self-starter to join our team as a Landscape Foreman.

Although this is a seasonal position, we can provide work for a minimum 9.5 months of the year, but is dependent on the weather.

Summary of Position:

The Landscape Foreman is responsible for the successful execution of all Landscape projects from start to finish including management of all staff, job scheduling and product acquisition. They are also responsible for ensuring site and equipment safety procedures are being followed at all times. We believe a safe workplace is a successful workplace.

Although mechanical abilities are not a requirement - knowledge of proper equipment maintenance procedures are a must. The foreman is responsible for working with our mechanic to ensure that equipment is properly maintained and cleaned on a regular basis.

Required Qualifications and Experience Include:

Valid B.C. drivers license and clean abstract. Minimum 5 years experience in the landscaping industry. Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role. Minimum 2 years experience operating equipment such as a Bobcat and Excavator. High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Highly organized. Excellent customer service skills.

Duties



Delegating tasks and overseeing the use of tools and equipment Train new crew members Oversee the maintenance of lawns, gardens and ensuring the proper use and storage of pesticides, fertilizers and other chemicals. Ensure all crew members observe health and safety regulations at all times. Complete equipment inspections and inventory checks. Tracking of employee time schedules and time off. Maintain a clean and safe job site.
