Who are we?

St. Jacobs Landscaping is a family owned landscape design, build and maintenance firm operating primarily within Waterloo Region. Our garden maintenance and construction teams mostly work on residential landscapes. We are a tight knit group with a great team dynamic.

What You'll Do:

Work with Foremen and Project Managers to assist with planning and execution of hardscape and softscape tasks. Help lead and support crew members on site and ensure high standards of work are met. Operate landscape machinery, hand tools and power tools, safely and responsibly. Read and interpret landscape drawings, layouts, and specifications. Install a variety of landscape features such as patios, water features, gardens, natural stone, sod and more. Optional winter employment in our snow removal division. Track and report project progress.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in landscaping. At least 3 years is preferred but not required. Knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and tools. Experience with assisting and leading landscape installation projects. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to stay organized under pressure. Valid G-class license and a clean driving record (AR-class an asset). Ability to operate a truck and trailer to deliver materials and equipment to site. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
