We aim to create unique and beautiful outdoor living spaces that give our clients the feeling of being on holiday, without actually leaving home! We are expert installers of patios, decks, fences, retaining walls, and much more! We are currently seeking two Landscape Construction Labourers to join our growing company! You will assist the foreman/woman in the completion of various landscape construction projects in and around the city of Calgary. Typical duties include but are not limited to: demolition, excavation and removal of soils and other materials, installation of various bulk landscape products, planting trees and shrubs, construction of hardscape features such as patios, retaining walls, decks, and fences, as well as installation of irrigation, and low voltage lighting systems. Previous landscaping experience is considered an asset, but not required, as on the job training will be provided. The position is full-time Mon-Fri from 7:30am - 5:00pm, with overtime paid, and possibility of some weekend work (depending on project needs). The position is seasonal, with the season typically wrapping up late October- early November. There is an opportunity for snow removal work in the winter for those looking to stay on year round. Pay will be based on experience. Responsibilities:

• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Moving tools and equipment to and from trucks as required.
• Using wheelbarrow to cart materials in and out of job site as required.
• Completing various tasks pertaining to completion of project, as directed by foreman/woman.
• Safe operation of power tools and motorized equipment to complete tasks as required.
• Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) worn at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.

Requirements (MINIMUM):

• Able to lift/pull/push up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to listen well and follow instruction.
• Steel-toed safety boots with 6" ankle support (other PPE will be provided).
• Must have own transportation to and from job site (site location will vary from job to job).

Requirements (ASSETS):

• Previous experience working as a landscape construction labourer.
• Previous experience using a shovel/wheelbarrow.
• Previous experience laying sod or planting trees/shrubs.
• Previous experience installing patios, retaining walls, fences and decks.
• First aid course or other safety certifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6-8 months Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement:
