Watermark Gardens is an award winning residential Landscape Construction and Maintenance Company that has been operating in the lower mainland for over 25 years. We have been involved in some of Vancouver's most challenging and rewarding prestigious projects. We are seeking a career minded individual for the role of Crew Leader to join our growing team.

Key Requirements:

-Minimum 5 years experience in landscape construction
- A positive attitude and willingness to encourage/motivate/train crew members
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Experience in organizing, setting up and running a job site
- Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as skid steers or excavators
- Basic understanding of irrigation, lighting, horticulture
- Ability to read, understand and build projects from landscape drawings, schematics and documents
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

-Excellent problem solving skills with a "can do" attitude

-Understanding of proper safety procedures and ability to recognize hazards

-Able to work in inclement weather and keep a positive attitude

Responsibilities

-Lead and direct a field staff of up to 5 people

-Work closely with sub contracted trades

-Work with Management to plan, order and stage materials effectively

-Deliver projects on budget, on time while maintaining high quality

-Assist and direct installation of materials such as plants, pavers, walls

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
