Landscape Carpenter
Job Description
Commercial Landscape Company in search of a career minded individual to support with the carpentry aspects of our Landscaping Projects. This individual works directly with the General manager to understand the scheduling requirements and scope of our workload and executes the carpentry aspects of our projects independently.
Duties include:
Reading and understanding drawings
Work with our estimator to determine ordering needs for materials and place orders.
Accurately measure and cut dimensional lumber for fencing and formwork
Work independently with minimal direction
Math and plan reading skills for general layout
Setting fence posts and installing custom and pre-fab panels
Installing formwork for concrete stairs and sidewalk flatwork
Custom woodwork installations - benches, pergolas, planters
Skid-steer operation is an asset
Comprehensive knowledge of woodworking tools is required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
