Job Description
Experienced Mini excavator operator with Telecom experience needed as we are growing our company! Responsibilities
- Digging/holes and trenches, pulling cable
- Operating tools and equipment and supporting the crew as needed
- General site preparation and clean-up as directed
- Other duties as required
- Previous experience operating a Mini Excavator to dig and grade.
- Ability to read locates.
- Experience excavating existing buried utilities.
- Previous experience with telecom.
- Must have a Valid clean drivers abstract to able to be insured, Valid license.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions year long
- Good verbal communication skills and able to work with others
- Must be able to safely lift 23 kg (50 lbs.)
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety and willing to receive applicable health and safety training as per legislative and job requirements.
- French not required
- 10 hour shift
