Key Responsibilities

Assist welders with setup, fabrication, and assembly of bolted, clamped, and welded components Prep materials for welding and grinding, including layout and basic fitting Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment under supervision Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment Support the operation and relocation of heavy-duty equipment and machinery Perform basic maintenance tasks to keep tools and machines in working order Help with grinding, cutting, and prepping steel and other materials Safely handle and transport parts, tools, and components around the shop Act as a runner for tools, parts, and supplies to keep projects moving Assist shop leads with repair and fabrication tasks Carry out routine shop cleanup and organization to maintain a safe, efficient, and professional workspace. Use shop software to track tasks, communicate with team members, and manage time

What We're Looking For

Valid Class 5 Drivers License Minimum 2 years of experience in welding, mechanical, or construction environments preferred High school diploma or equivalent Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and willingness to learn Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods Familiarity with basic shop tools and safety protocols Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions Team-oriented mindset with a focus on reliability and accountability
