Absolute Industrial Mechanical Ltd. is currently hiring a full-time welder's helper to join our shop crew in Mission, BC. Pipe fitter apprentices and welder apprentices may also apply.

We have provided professional pipefitting and industrial plumbing services since 1999 and specialize in process piping fabrication and installations for pump stations and water treatment facilities. Our fabrication shop is responsible for the assembly of stainless/carbon steel pipe spools, as well as manufacturing a wide variety of miscellaneous metals.

Requirements:

Excellent skills in communication, numeracy, and critical thinking Must have a positive attitude and be able to work safely and efficiently as part of a team Prior experience in a similar shop position Prior experience working with power tools Knowledge of pipe fit-up requirements to execute quality welds an asset Self motivated

Responsibilities Include:

Cut, prep, and clean pipe materials using power tools or by hand Assist in and perform complex fit-up jobs Maintain a clean and organized work space Meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently
