Labourer
Job Description
Brandt is currently seeking a Labourer for our Trois-Rivieres Construction & Forestry location. The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for controlling in and outbound equipment, washing equipment, and assisting shop service technicians.
Duties and Responsibilities
Cleaning parts, components, and machines
Cleaning and organizing the yard
Some inventory maintenance
Assisting the other shop personnel fulfill their duties and increase overall shop productivity
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practices
Highly motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to carry out and understand verbal and written instructions
Strong attention to detail
Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy equipment environment (ie: lifting up to 50 lbs)
Required Experience
Must be capable of working under minimal supervision
Previous mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required
Forklift experience and heavy duty parts handling considered an asset
