Overview

We are seeking a dedicated member to join our landscaping and snow removal team and must be available to start by 4:15am on snow season mornings only. This role entails summer grass cutting, landscaping and general exterior maintenance and is essential for ensuring safe and accessible sidewalks-walkways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be responsible, punctual and have a flexible schedule. Preference will be given to individuals with landscaping experience and/or those with a solid understanding of snow removal techniques

Responsibilities

Operate snow equipment and other related equipment to clear snow and ice from walkways and sidewalks. Monitor weather conditions and assess the need for snow removal operations. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding operational needs and conditions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols while on the job site. Assist in landscape and exterior maintenance tasks during summer season periods.

Skills

Punctual and flexible Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently an asset. Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during snow removal operations. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
