Overview:
CDN Controls Ltd. is a fully integrated provider of instrumentation, electrical, automation, communication, combustion and emissions, and meter proving services throughout Western Canada. Our growing company is currently looking to hire local labourers to join our Major Projects team, based in or around Brooks, AB. This role works 5 days on, 2 days off with 10-hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
As a labourer, you will be responsible to:
- Trench and run cable
- Assemble steel ground mount racking and panels
Required:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in physically challenging conditions
- Able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Industry or trade experience is not required, we will train
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract is an asset
- A pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required prior to employment
- Must be able to take direction and work well in a team environment
- Must have MSA approved steel toed boots and hard hat
