KWS Keys Welding Service Ltd., a division of the STC Industrial Group of Companies, is a First Nations owned welding and fabrication shop delivering safe, competitive, quality services to our clients, and engagement and growth to Indigenous communities and people.

KWS Keys Welding Service Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a

Labourer

located at our facility in the North Corman Industrial Park.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move materials within the shop using forklifts and other equipment. Set up workstations by arranging tools, materials, and equipment. Ensure the work areas are clean and organized. Provide support to welders by retrieving tools, holding materials in place, and performing other tasks as directed. Inspect materials and finished products for defects or imperfections. Report any issues to the supervisor. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Properly dispose of scrap materials and waste in accordance with shop procedures and environmental regulations. Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outputs. Other duties as directed by supervisor or designate.

Qualifications

Grade 12 education along with 1-2 years related experience. Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety guidelines. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various positions. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain precision in cutting operations. Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to work independently when needed without direct supervision and remain on task.
