Main Responsibilites

Kentron Construction, part of the Terus Construction Group., is seeking Labourers for its Concrete plant based out of Kitimat, BC. Terus Construction Ltd. is a leader in the construction industry in British Columbia and the Yukon Territory.

Duties / Tasks:

• General labourer duties associated with a concrete Ready-Mix Plant.
• Required ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools.
• Operate equipment as needed.
• Yard, Plant & Equipment clean up as needed.
• May be called upon to run small power tools.
• Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
• Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
• Follow instructions from your supervisor or manager
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Experience:

• Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent required
• Previous experience on a plant crew an asset.

Requirements

• Overtime as required.
• Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
• Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
• Must comply with the company\xe2\x80\x99s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
