At O'Hanlon Paving, we specialize in road construction and are proud to maintain a large fleet of equipment that keeps our operations running smoothly. Based out of our West Shop in Acheson, AB, our Mechanical & Maintenance team plays a key role in ensuring top performance. We're looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Labourer / Entry-Level Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on shop experience and build a career in the heavy equipment trade.

Responsibilities:

Wash and clean sweepers, trucks, and heavy equipment Perform general shop cleaning and yard maintenance Assist Heavy Equipment Technicians with repairs and servicing Carry out basic maintenance tasks as required Support daily shop operations while learning industry best practices Other shop duties as required
Qualifications:

Completion of grade 12 Genuine interest in mechanical work and heavy equipment Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn Valid Class 5 driver's license (preferred) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically capable of performing labour tasks High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
