SMS Equipment is looking for a Labourer to join our highly skilled team at our Fort McMurray, AB branch.The shift rotation for this position is 7x7.The hourly rate for this position is $35.06 per hour plus applicable premiums.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing general cleaning and shop work
• Cleaning and prepping various service equipment by steam cleaning and sandblasting as required
• Moving tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas
• Performing general cleaning and shop work
• Completing equipment inspection checks, and confirming parts shipping and receiving information
• Assisting skilled trades people to complete department projects and tasks as required
• Moving tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas
• General yard clean-up
• Have a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety.
• Motivated and able to work in a challenging environment with minimal supervision.
• Will be required to work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess a High School Diploma with 1-2 years of industry related experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Other requirements include

• Highly motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Proven ability to adhere to and maintain workplace health and safety initiatives
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong focus on providing valuable customer service
• Valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License
• Forklift training, WHMIS, and TDG training certification is an asset. Willing to train the right candidate.
