Duncan\'s Limited, a leading provider of Mechanical Contracting and Custom Metal products and services, is seeking a motivated and reliable Metal Fabrication Labourer to join our team. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled workers such as welders, fabricators, and sheet metal workers, with various tasks as needed
- Measure and cut materials such as metal pipes, rods, and sheets to specific lengths
- Cut, grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
- Sort metal sheets, parts, scrap metal and other materials
- Clean and maintain work areas, tools and equipment
- Ensure warehouses are kept clean and organized at all times
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- 5 Years of experience working in a metal shop or similar setting
- Experience performing maintenance on various tools and machines
- Experience working with various types of metal
- Ability to perform basic welding tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
