Job Description








Position Overview:
Labourers support operators and supervisors to work safely and efficiently by cleaning the site, moving materials, and performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment. Their duties require manual labour and must be done safely at all times. Labourers may also operate equipment like rock trucks and packers. Worksites will be located throughout Western Canada with a specific focus on Pipeline Integrity Digs, Demolition and Remediation and Relocation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning of construction sites, performing routine maintenance on tools / equipment, loading and unloading equipment
  • Working with hand tools, moving materials on the construction site, generally assisting other workers in completing their work
  • Some heavy lifting and physically demanding duties
  • Commitment to working safely and following safety protocol
  • Experience in oilfield waste management, heavy equipment and valid industry safety tickets are an asset
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
Experience and Education:
  • Drug, Alcohol & Fitness Testing
  • Possession of a valid class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Valid Safety Tickets (H2S, First Aid, CSTS, Ground Disturbance)
  • Grade 12 or GED
  • Must have steel toe work boots; other personal safety gear is an asset
  • Ability to Work variable shifts & hours
  • Work and/or travel in varied terrains, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation
  • Can work well as a team member or independently with little direction
  • Must be reliable, mature, punctual, motivated
  • Strong detail orientation with computer skills
  • Solid communication and customer service skills
