Labourer / Equipment Operator

Brief Description

The team at First Capital Construction is looking to add another dedicated member as a Labourer / Equipment Operator.

The position consists of performing any combination of tasks related to site work and equipment operation. The role will also support our winter snow operations..

Hours

Monday to Friday (7am - 5pm) Full Time On Call for weather events during snow contracts

Tasks

Shoveling, operating a blower, plow truck, or any combination thereof Operating Excavator, backhoe, skidsteer, mini ex, loader etc. for excavating, dirt moving, snow clearing, material handling Transportation of materials and equipment to and from job sites Loading and unloading of trucks, vehicles, equipment Perform daily inspections on equipment and vehicles Provide quality customer service and ensure satisfaction through reliable service Safely secure and transport loads to appropriate drop off locations Perform all duties safely and while abiding company policies

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full time, year-round position; Outdoor and indoor working sites Heavy lifting may be required

Wage will be based on experience

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid Driver's License required D classification preferred Previous equipment operation experience required Previous roll off truck experience preferred Has safety footwear
