Position Summary:

Curtis Powerworks (2018) Inc. is a Utility Line Construction company with an exciting opportunity for a

Laborer

to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, hardworking individual who works well in a team and can perform tasks with minimal supervision. This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Location:

Grand Falls-Windsor, Bishop's Falls

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist pole installation crews with daily operations. Drive company pickup trucks and trailers as required. Rig and secure loads safely for transport. Operate power tools and other equipment as needed. Perform general yard cleanup and maintenance. Carry out other general labor duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Valid

Class 5 Driver's License

(required). Valid

Powerline Hazards Certificate

(required). Valid

Traffic Control Certificate

(required). Experience working around heavy equipment and in remote locations is considered an asset. Must provide or be able to obtain a

driving record check (abstract)

.

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements

Physically demanding role; must be capable of lifting up to

25 kilograms (60 lbs)

various weather conditions

and

different locations across the province

.

Compensation and Benefits

$20.00 per hour
