BOORTMALT is a world leader malting company with 3 million tones production capacity. The group is present on 5 continents with 27 malting plants. Boortmalt's expertise is widely acknowledged by brewers and distillers who rely on the supply of top quality barley malt. The Boortmalt Group is a fully owned subsidiary of the agricultural and agribusiness cooperative Axereal. Our relationship with Axereal, Europe's largest grain cooperative, ensures us access to high quality barley year round.

The job

As a Laboratory Technician you will perform a variety of laboratory tests, analysis and quality controls. You will assist with laboratory equipment instrumentation and calibration.

Please note this role is scheduled week-days, 4 days/week, 32 hour work-week.

Some other responsibilities are:

Sample preparation
Colorimetric analysis
pH-measurements
Haze analysis
Filtrations
Density analysis
Viscosity analysis
Moistures
Total-protein with NIR and or DUMAS
Malt/barley screenings
Germination powers (4/8ml)
Working with different and specialised equipment's
GC and HPLC
Working with LIMS or internal database

Who you are

College degree Lab Technician
Working experience min 1 year or equivalent educational experience
Fluent in English
MS Office Software
