Schedule requirements : Available any shifts (day, afternoon and nights for the week-end) and full time any shifts during the off-school seasons.

Salary : 23,24$/ hour

Shift premium night : 0.85$ / hour

Afternoon premium : 0.75$ / hour

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must have demonstrated the following in their current position:
  • Sound work ethics;
  • Good work performance;
  • Good attendance record.
  • Applicant must have Food Science qualification and post-graduation degree and scientific knowledge to perform quality control activities, previous laboratory experience would be an asset.
  • Applicant must be able to perform all aspects of the job and keep the work area and equipment clean.
  • Applicant must work in a professional, timely and efficient manner.
  • Applicant must have excellent written, oral and communication skills.
  • Applicant must be skilled in the use of computers.
  • Applicant must always comply with Health and Safety policies including personal protective equipment (PPE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP/SQF Requirements.
  • Applicant must can perform product evaluation (taste, smell, appearance test, butterfat analysis), chemical and microbiological analysis. (ATP and Listeria Swabs)
  • Applicant must be able to operate FOSS FTs equipment and can perform necessary maintenance and repair when necessary. Applicant must be able to perform necessary calibrations on applicable equipment.
  • Applicant must have the ability to assess data, conduct detailed investigations, make decisions when necessary and escalate matters to Supervisor/Manager when required.
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned.
