About the Role

Laboratory Technician

Location:

West-End Halifax HQ & Dalhousie Laboratory

Experience:

Background in Chemistry required. Special consideration will be given to applicants with commercial lab experience.

What You'll Do



As a Laboratory Technician at Infusd, you'll be a critical part of our R&D engine. You will support day-to-day lab operations while helping move formulations from concept to customer validation. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who thrives in an organized, fast-moving lab environment and takes pride in precision and execution.

You will:

Execute R&D experiments and formulation work by following established protocols and supporting new method development Conduct sample development. Prepare, label, document, and ship outbound samples to customers and partners, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and on-time delivery. Set up, monitor, and maintain stability trials, including data collection, sample pulls, and reporting. Operate and maintain lab equipment, ensuring calibration, cleanliness, and readiness for daily use. Accurately record experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and internal systems. Support scale-up preparation by organizing materials, batching small-scale trials, and assisting engineers with pilot validation work. Manage lab inventory and supplies, including ordering consumables, tracking ingredients, and maintaining a clean, compliant workspace. Follow and reinforce lab safety, quality, and documentation standards at all times. Collaborate closely with science, operations and company leadership to keep projects moving efficiently and reliably.
