Purpose of the Position



Reporting to the R&D / QA Management, the Laboratory Technician will support product development and quality assurance by performing trials, product evaluations, and analytical testing.
This role is ideal for someone who

Responsibilities



Participate in

product trials, sensory testing, and taste evaluations

to assess texture, flavor, and overall product performance. Perform analytical and quality control tests on raw materials and finished products. Support R&D project managers in the development and improvement of new and existing formulations. Conduct

shelf-life evaluations

and assist in product optimization. Ensure accurate sample traceability, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions. Maintain and clean laboratory equipment; perform preventive maintenance. Organize and maintain laboratory inventory and storage. Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, etc.). Collaborate closely with the Quality and R&D teams to meet project goals.

Qualifications



Diploma or degree in

Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field

(food background is essential).

Around 3 years of experience

in a food laboratory, product development, or quality control environment. Knowledge of

food hygiene and safety standards

(GMP, HACCP, etc.). Experience with analytical testing and sensory evaluation methods.

Skills and Attributes
